YEARLY WAIVER FORM

OUR CORE VALUES:

Worship - We want teens to encounter Jesus in personal relationship and for their lives to be an intimate and outward expression of worship. We will learn the importance of regular acts of worship like prayer, testimonies, and encouragement.

Grow - We will spend time understanding the life of Jesus, and put into practice following the way of Jesus. We will intentionally engage with fellow believers and learn to know what God's vision for community looks like.

Serve - We learn that God is doing a renewing work now, and will spend time learning that God has empowered each one of His children through the power of the Holy Spirit with the tools to participate in that work.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Our fall season will focus on creating a space for students to belong to a community of Jesus followers. To be formed in community against individualism, isolation, and mistrust.

Our priority as a youth ministry is to create a space where each student feels like they belong. To learn what their identity in being formed in God's image looks like, and to discover their purpose in working with God to build His Kingdom.

Each week students will experience 3 elements:

1. Play - We believe God is playful and having fun is a way of connecting with one another and with God. Each time we play, we want to make sure everyone is able to participate regardless of ability. Fun and laughter is one of the best ways we seek to build a sense of belonging.

2. Eat - Having meals around a table is a lost practice for many families and children. We believe that spending unhurried time around a table is an extension of God's invitation toward us to come to the table and meet with Him; that our eating around a table is how God would eat with us. Food is one of the best ways to break down barriers and build connections, and to prepare ourselves for sharing our lives with each other.

3. Share - Each and every student has a story to tell. We believe that sharing our stories in a safe space is a way to continually build the relationships that we are striving to create. God wants to use our stories to encourage and support one another on the journey of being disciples of Jesus. This time includes prayer, reflection, and hearing one another's stories.

jUNIOR high ministry

Friday Nights: Grade 6-8 | 630-8:15pm - @ NCF (unless otherwise indicated)

Our Jr High Ministry is an opportunity for students to discover what it means to belong to a Jesus community, to discover what it means to believe in Jesus, and to become more like He is in this world. We will do this by regularly having fun playing as a group, eating food at a table together, and sharing our lives with one another through stories and prayer.

Each week will consist of these 3 elements of play, eat, share, with the 3rd Wednesday of the month being an event for students to reach out to others as an introduction to our community.

What to bring? Bible, journal, and pen.

Sunday mornings: Grade 6-8 - 9:30-10:30am - Youth Classroom

Our Sunday School is an opportunity for students to explore deeper the stories of Scripture with others curious about what it means to follow Jesus.

young adult ministry

Monday Evenings - Age 18+ - 6-8pm - at Pastor Matt's House

Young adulthood is a difficult and different season of life unlike any other. We want to provide young adults a consistent place to belong to community, and consider what it means to believe in Jesus, and become more like Him.

We seek to accomplish this by creating 'The Table' which is our invitation for young adults to connect weekly over food and fellowship to create a society of people curious about Jesus in an ever-changing landscape.
